Welcome to Our Table

Welcome to Rosas Café. Join us as we discover the stories behind the scenes, the people who make it happen, and more of the real us.

Hola from sunny Marbella,

I'm Ana Santos, founder of Rosas Café, and I've been wanting to start this for a while now.

When I first dreamed up Rosas Café , I wanted to create something different and distinctive. A creative space that reflected everything beautiful and artistic that inspires me. I also wanted it to represent my own values—integrity in everything that I do, a desire to create a nurturing community, and a genuine feeling of family.

And now, as we continue growing, I realize there's so much more of our story I want to share.

Let’s connect beyond the quick Instagram stories, and beyond our morning rush at Rosas. I want to share what really goes into Rosas Café, welcoming you to discover the stories behind the scenes, the people who make it happen, and honestly, just more of the real us.

Rosas started as a dream I carried with me through years of working in fashion, traveling the world, while collecting moments and ideas that moved me.

From Cape Town to Milan to Dubai, I was always taking mental notes - of spaces that made me feel positivity, of food that brought people together, of the way certain places just felt like home.

When I finally opened Rosas Café in Marbella back in June 2018, I wanted to create exactly that feeling. A place where you could come as you are, whether that's straight from the gym or dressed to the nines.

Where your dog is not just allowed in - but welcomed as a guest. Where the food is as beautiful as it is nourishing, and where the coffee - well, let me tell you more about our coffee later, but it's genuinely the best in the world.

The response has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. We've become a morning ritual for so many of you. A place to celebrate birthdays, to work on your laptop with a matcha latte, to bring visiting friends who want to see "that pink café." Some of you even visit us before you've unpacked your suitcase when you arrive in Marbella, which honestly makes my heart so full.

But here's the thing: there's so much more to share.

Yes, we have thousands of silk roses on our walls (in six different shades, because balance matters). Yes, we collaborate with brands like Zimmermann, Dior and Messika. Yes, our space photographs beautifully.

But what keeps you coming back—what I hope keeps you coming back—is everything else. The homemade cakes we bake fresh every morning. The local ingredients we source with care. The team who greets you by name. The feeling of being part of something warm and real.

So that's what this blog is for.

I want to pull back the roses, so to speak, and show you more. I'll share stories about how we built this place, why we make the choices we make, what inspires our menu, and what it's really like to run a café that feels like a second home to so many people. I'll introduce you to our incredible team. I'll tell you about upcoming events and experiences we're planning - flower workshops, yoga brunches, guest talks - all the ways we want to grow this community beyond just coffee and cake.

And I want to hear from you too. Your stories, your favorite corner at Rosas Café, what brings you back, what you'd love to see more of.

So as the year draws to a close, the next beautiful chapter in our story is unfolding. There's so much happening, so much to share, and I didn't want you to miss any of it.

Consider this your invitation to our table. Not just the marble tables at the café, or to our Instagram, but this space right here, where we can connect in a different way.

I'm so glad you're here.

With love,

Ana
